I have dealings with a guy from a scaffold company who is a KC regular and he has said for years he wouldn't go to CP because he wouldnt pay to stand in the south stand, I asked him recently if he would now go if he could be accommodated under cover in a brand new north stand, he said no. Some of them hate us being in SL, even though it was achieved legitimately through hard work on and off the field, unlike them who were bailed out by the RFL when they should have been in administration and relegated.

I know of plenty of Rovers fans that thought the same about the Boulevard though, they wouldn't go not because of the state of the place but because it was Hull FC's home. Now these same people go to the KC, it just doesnt feel, look or smell like Hull FC's home. This is why I am happy to stay at Craven Park, it feels like home and not just a rented accomodation that anyone is allowed to use as long as they pay for it.

The KC is a bit like a high class hooker, she is still a prostitute that anyone can pay to use, whereas Craven Park is like the fat girl you decide to marry because nobody else will have you and you feel like it's time to settle down and have kids! It'll never be the most stunning stadium but she's going on a diet having a bit of plastic surgery and she'll look alright but at the end of the day she is still ours and us red and whites love her!!!

Pillocks then, The Boulevard was a great place to watch a derby, the atmosphere was electric, I think the fans of either side who refuse to go because they just hate the other team are not true fans at all, surely its about supportting your team at the end of the day. If FC shoved the prices up for our visit I would be p!ssed off, but would still go. You will always get the ones who feel that way, but I do understand the reasons for not wanting to stand on the south terrace, not because its in the open (I am sure the same people will stand in the open at Wakey, Salford, Leeds etc etc), but because of the view. The refusal to attend once we have a brand new, quality covered seating stand will be just down to not being a real fan.

At the risk of repeating myself bringing back promotion and relegation would remove all the confusion and conspiracy theories. If you finish top you deservedly get promoted and likewise if you finish bottom then you deservedly get relegated

Can someone tell me why at Hull KR, the stand that is rarely used has a massive patch of grass between the pitch and stand. Did it use to have a purpose?

Unfortunatly that was how it looked.
We had one of the smallest pitches in pro RL it also hardly semed to have any grass on it half the time.
This is why some Rovers fans get so frustrated when people get digs in about NCP.
We know what we had, we also know that its still not perfect BUT its 1,000 times better then it was and is still being improved and up to now it has been at the cost of the club.
Digging up the Dog/Speedway tracks, Relaying the pitch with new drainage, New floodlights, Temp stand, East stand extension and new turnstyles all payed for by the club.
A fair few clubs havent done half and a quarter of that and they have been in SL with the money that it includes far. far longer than we have.
