What made me laugh the other night was Eddie saying that wigan were taking a 'quick tap', when they'd already had one go at it and been brought back by the ref

I'm fed up of people being 'deemed', commentary using the future tense for something that's actually happened; hearing how Stevo can read minds "X realises...", his musings as to when a side are going to "confuse" the defence, send out (very confusing) messages, or just 'come on'. Overall though I find them very irritating!

dont forget, every scrum half is........."the little halfback"


my best eddie / stevo moment was at the old wilderspool ground, it was half time, and a good looking young scantily clad female was doing acrobatics.........

my favourite Barry Mac moment was in a thursday night game last season when trying to explain tactics - he came out with "well Bill,it's not rocket surgery".........

'(insert dummy half) hasn't gone it alone yet, well he now?.... No, he goes wide'

I remember Barry Mac once saying something along the lines of "he's clearly injured his shoulder there that's why he's limping"

Good, entertaining thread. Here are my personal faves/gripes:

1. Stevo's pronunciation of 'super'.

2. Everytime Eddie asks Stevo a question in the studio and he begins answering him and then turns to face the camera, as if he's having the conversation with the viewer.

3. Eddie is getting annoying with his "mana from heaven" quip.

5. Everytime a decision is referred 'upstairs', Eddie likes to chip in with, "those 3 little words - benefit of the doubt".

6. (insert proficient goalkicker) doesn't miss these!

Stevo, just after any form of biff - "He didn't miss!"

The biffee walks away, unscathed - "He is one tough hombre."

at the meerest hint of aggro between players Stevo always comes out with "it's getting a bit tasty out there"..........he's like the rest of us,dying for a punch up !

Well, we don't need this in our game!

that freaks me out everytime! phil clarke is much worse for it, when he turns to the camera, chin slightly down, looking at you sideways as his head turns - its like a hungry Apex predator catching you in his sights and deciding you would be a tasty meal!
again i should point out, it was not my intention so start a thread about how annoying stevo is, more an appreciation of his and the teams idiosyncrasies.
