Yes I did not notice that until I saw a poll yesterday . Most people I know wish him well and don’t blame him from wanting to get away from the royal family.

It's a reminder of the hold the cesspit tabloids still have over so many in our country. Unfortunately we still need to get Rugby League in front of the eyeballs reading them.

| Ihonsetly thought he was popular and was seen as the royal with the human touch like Diana
All the charity work seemed really popular
Harry launched the Invictus Games in 2014 and remains the patron of its foundation. He also gives patronage to several other organisations, including the HALO Trust and Walking With The Wounded.[2] To encourage people to open up about their mental health issues, Harry, alongside the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, initiated the mental health awareness campaign "Heads Together" in April 2016.
With a Cv like that not sure why he is the least popular royal !

maybe they don't like him because he's a ginger, I not royalist in any form and think if anyone had to put up with the crap that has killed his mother and now is hounding them down I'd do the same
he should stick up the two fingers royals and go live a life else where

| I think it would be a good idea if the RL retained his role and invited him to various key games. Good for sticking two fingers at the media/ establishment and good for helping to move the country into the 21st century.

| Genuine question I know she's the Queen, but, is it her responsibility (within her gift) to bin Harry off on the RL's behalf? She might chose to 'demote' the guy and stop his pocket money but surely it would be up to the individual organization and Harry to decide whether they want to sever ties?

Rimmer is hardly going to go down that route as it could scupper his knighthood

I think they can do whatever they want.
They already operate above and outside the law.

Genuine question, does he even have any interest in Rugby League?

| Did he have pre-existing interest in the sport, almost certainly not. But did he find a new found respect for it, then I'd say yes as do most people who get involved. It wouldn't be bad for publicity to ask him to still by our patron or contrive an honoury position for him. It would keep the tabloid numpties vaguely interested.

| Well his big brother looks like he could be installed. Theoretically a better ‘honour’ for the game but I doubt William will bring as much energy to the role. Good to see the RLWC mentioned on the Lords too.

I agree.
Regardless of how he is treated by his family, he will remain a high profile figure but, whether he would really want to be involved in RL is another matter altogether
