Will Oakes(wing) - played a handful of 1st team games but needs to learn from his mistakes.
Elliot Wallis(Wing) - Again played a couple of games for the 1st team, Looks a good prospect
Mikey Lewis(HB) - Along with Connor Wynne at Hull FC, he is an outstanding prospect signed by Hull KR from the joint academy. Him and Wynne were the best 2 players for the Academy.'"
How does the joint academy work in regards to signing a player? Is it first come first serve sort of thing?

The older ones were ring-fenced to the prospective clubs they had signed for prior to the merger of the academy. I think the 17's now were originally meant to be done as a draft system, but not sure if that has transpired. Connor Wynne was the first player to be signed from the non-ringfenced players and believe me, he is going to be some player. Same with Mikey Lewis, both very talented players

| Luke Hooley - A lad I'm really impressed with, played for us in the 19's and then was loaned out to Dewsbury and Oldham where by all accounts ripped it up. Got a bit of pace behind him and can also kick goals, very well rounded already at a very early age.
Excited to see whats to come.

Jack Welsby (Stand Off)

You can add Kershaw to that though it would take one hell of an injury crisis fir a winger to get a break at Wakefield these days. Like the look of Yusif Adin but early days.

How olf is Will Oaks? I'm assuming he's the one that used to be in Wakefields Academy - and that seems a long time ago.

Good point.
I didn't comment on Kershaw as I haven't seen too much of him but looks to have settled in well with the squad (going from Instagram and social media), the lads really seem to have taken well to him. Adin looks a big lad as well.
Hope to see them feature in the preseason, perhaps Boxing Day! Which seems to be approaching rapidly lol!

Yeah, he's still just 19, which for me is pretty scary because it seems ages ago since I used to watch him play down Eastmoor but it's only about 5 years ago.
