| Quote: Saint Simon "probably Saints v Widnes and Hull FC v Leeds the TV games?'"
Saints v Widnes would have to be the most unappealing tv game possible. Saints beating a side that will likely compete for an hour and then fall away. If it was at Widnes maybe but not at Saints. Tv will want to put Leigh on again so that will be a tv game

| 20 of Leeds last 22 Challenge Cup ties have been against SL opposition.
The other two were against Leigh.

| Hull KR vs Catalans must be on the BBC.
Catalans rested Todd Carney and Scott Dureau and several others for their exciting win over the boys from Post Office Road. The return of the two maestro halves up against Terence Campese and Albert Kelly will be worth the price of your television licence fee.

Not bloody likely...
As a Centurion obviously I would love the win, but mark my words, it ain't happening, too much too soon that one.
As an aside, I have a real soft spot for Wire & there is a group of Wire fans who are regulars at the LSV to watch Leigh when Wires have no Sunday game.
Edit.
Expect anywhere from 3,000 to 4,000 Leythers to travel to this one.

Was that HKR ? Remember it well, but forget you was at home.
We played Wire in the QF whilst in the NFP in 2001 and took over 4000 to Widerspool. Quality and fitness won the day for Wire after we led for a large proportion of that game. Lost in the end 20-10.
If Wire are on fire, Leigh wont be at the races. If they are not and Leigh play well, God knows !!
Leigh will score points thats for sure !!

| Wire [ishould[/i win with plenty to spare, if they can't figure out what Leigh's obvious weaknesses are and exploit them to the full and not take their foot off the gas then they deserve to lose because Leigh have shown they can score given half a chance.
That's not a poke at Leigh because they performed well in the 2nd half against Wakefield, BUT Wakefield were absolutely shocking in that 2nd half.

| Leigh will have a go and really a big loss would have no real significance. We need to judge ourselves against the bottom 4 not the top 4. Bournemouth will not expect to get near Chelsea next season and they don't have to. They just need to finish outside the bottom three. The longer they do that the better chance they have of moving up the table and getting used to that level of intensity. The same for Leigh except that they get a second chance through the Middle 8s to remain in SL. the key now is to get into SL and see what happens.

Absolutely and that the players have had a taste of success against SL sides will motivate them further and give them added belief that they can compete.
The success of Leigh will hopefully give more impetus to those championship sides not quite there yet, that SL status is attainable and that they won't necessarily be whipping boys week in week out. A well founded infrastructure/core stability is everything, that and some fans to keep the till ringing.
Frankly I think how well Leigh do is far more important (to RL as a whole) than people realise.

| I think Wire will win, but they'll make hard work of it. Both teams like to throw the ball around, and as such, both can be a bit daft. Wire are always doing weird silly things. In this respect, it should be like a good old fashioned game from the early 90s. Can't wait.
