Carmont's been as good as the last 2 or 3 years - solid and rarely at fault in defence, and whilst his speed isn't exactly lightning, he frequently gets the better of his opposite number.
However, I'd give it to Welham - just. Either player would be worthy of the place though. |

I agree. There are very few this year that are even debatable. My team noted earlier is clearly the benchmark so far. The only positions up for debate is loose forward as O'Loughlin has been very defense orientated so perhaps there is an argument for moving the impressive Tony Puletua to loose forward and bring in another backrower. |
