I tend to agree but if it is anything like the challenge cup final last year then there was quite a few fights breaking out in and outside of the stadium. Lets just hope this sort of thing doesnt get worse as I fear it will

| For what it is worth I have never seen any trouble at the Magic Weekend.
Unlike the Challenge Cup there aren't fans about that are in areas they don't want to be as they can generally move where they like and be near to/far enough away from fans they want to be by or not so people are generally happy.
Nightlife is great and one of my favourite cities for a good time.

Depends how you define a good time.
If your idea of a good time involves standing around in packed out pubs full of pill popping kids whom I'm not totally sure have reached the legal age for consuming alcohol (in Wales this is 12) drinking outrageously expensive pints of weak Carling extra cold (or holy water as Valley boys call it) then its fantastic.

Change the record PHIPPS.
Your general style is to put down anything and mostly anywhere, you've had a go at Widnes, Warrington, Salford, South Wales and quite a few other places and all the time keeping your current town/city a secret. Nice one.
A lot of people on here know Cardiff is a top night out and I hope people have seen that you're a wind up merchant so take your comments with a pinch of salt. Let them sample it for themselves rather than let some anonymous person put them off it on here.

| ttbf to Phipps, he's not that far off on this.
tbf to Cardiff: it's not unique - typical small provincial town centre, full of loud groups of drunk teens and 20somethings. Many users on here will enjoy it.

Cardiff Central.
You said that most got off at Queen Street and also that there was more than one main way out.
Apart from one small gate at the back it is all out of the main front doors.
Somebody else pointed that out to you too.
No comment on the other places then. I wait with baited breath for you to condemn Manchester, London and Newcastle on the strength of one article.

Maybe you ought to re read the comment I posted.
I think you will find I said that on a SATURDAY AFTERNOON the vast majority of people arriving in Cardiff from up the various South Wales valleys will alight at Cardiff Queen st. Which they will. Because the train stops there first. As far as access to the pubs and shops goes there really is not a lot of difference. Maybe you are not familiar with Cardiff? Maybe you should go there one day. It's not far from Newport.

I work there every day, thanks for the geography lesson though.
Queen Street station is a lot further from the stadium than central and quite a lot of the pubs.
We're talking a rugby day here and not a shopping day too.
