Whilst it woykd seem generally that RL fans have vited with there feet with regards Thursday games.
It seems certain towns simply don't want a super league side and don't deserve one. Widnes, Salford, Huddersfield, Wakefield.
Its simpke to me, lay it on the line to them, your crowds improve or you are out. Bring Bradford Leigh Halifax back in. |

In all honesty Widnes could have been playing Bradford last night and the attendance wouldn't have been any higher.
Thursday night games are always going to be poorly attended unless there's barely any traveling to be done. There's a reason why the RFL began subsidising the away support travel on Thursday nights.
Widnes v Hull will never get a great crowd purely because of the 240 mile round trip Hull fans would have to make. Scheduling it for a Thursday night just makes absolutely no sense to me, and proves that Sky don't care about the gates. |

Very little to do with away support, if it was sunday afternoon would there suddenly by an extra 3k hull fans travel over. The fact is Widnes Salford etr attract less than 3500 home fans most weeks regardless of when the game is played. That is shocking for a top tier RL side. |
