Leeds will ultimately benefit next week when bridge is suspended. Alibert seems to make a lot of decisions without consulting his touchjudges or the video ref, the only problem is most of them are wrong. Leeds suffered against wigan a few weeks ago and bradford have suffered tonight. The law of averages say that if you get Halibut again his bad decisions will even themselves out..........I'm not too sure that theory is true.

Why would Ganson have sent him off?
That reputation he had for dismissals has largely gone now.
He was in charge at Headingly when Ablett ran 30 yards to smash his elbow/forearm into Sam Tomkins' face. Ganson didn't send Ablett off.
The Leeds player got a 3 match ban plus fine from the DC.

Posted this on our forum already...

Chris Bridge is a cheap shot aficionado and is up there with Bailey and Ryan Mcgoldrick, although he is not quite at the level of Issac Luke or Steve Matai.

Anyway, that attempt at a elbow / Flop / forearm was not as bad as some on here think IMO.

1-2 games will cover it, if he had connected then maybe 3-4. Intent is one thing, but the fact that he completely missed says he had second thoughts on the way down and pulled out.

Intent should not be punished as severely as actual contact imo, as it is all down to interpretation by the judiciary / Ref and as far as i am concerned that shower should not be allowed to input their severely disjointed and non consistent opinions.

It either is, or it is not.

That effort falls into the latter.

Dislodging the ball one on one is part of our game. He clearly attacked the ball with his palm in the first instance if you care to look past your bias

Was that before or after he dropped his elbow into the tackled players chest while he was defenceless on the ground?

I'm sure you can work out what that reputation is when a large portion of wire fans are writing off bridges cowardly actions and even suggesting he was attempting to dislodge the ball.

Shame really as bridge is clearly a good player he doesn't need the cowardly, dirty side.

He attacked the ball? I must have missed the bit where Ben Jeffries swallowed it. I wish I'd taped the game now, so I could go back and watch him dislocate his jaw and stuff the Steeden in, like a python eating a goat. Maybe it'll be on the highlights.

Bridge didn't make contact with the head so in my humble opinion I don't think it was as bad as Moa's but regardless of whether Bridge meant to try and dislodge the ball you can't do it with your elbow. Should have been a red in my opinion but Alibert bottled it amongst numerous other bizarre decisions from him.
