Met Henry Paul last year in a pub on the Otley Run in Leeds. He was dressed as a teenage mutant ninja turtle. Really nice bloke, had a photo taken with us and took the mick out of Robbie.

A couple of pro's help coach amateur clubs in Leeds (and I'm sure many others do accross the country) which I think says alot about their attitude and willingness to give back to the sport.

oh and - mark riddell was ok, keith galloway seemed a nice bloke too, tall and skinny though

Paul Cullen - Despite being in Manchester airport departure lounge at 6.30am, he was still up for a good chat about RL. Cracking bloke, very articulate about the game and a true gent.

Ashley Klein - Saw him a few years ago at Belle Vue (or the Atlantic Solutions Stadium, whatever the hell it was called back then!) walking towards the entrance and as he was walking up a small set of stairs, he ended up tripping up and falling on his ar$e. Despite us laughing, and saying we hope he doesn't do that during the game, he took it in good heart.

Terry O'Connor - Shoulder charged the guy, by accident of course, in the concourse at the Millenium Stadium the last time the Magic Weekend was there. Left my coat in my seat and ran back to get it, but as I ran round the corner, I couldn't stop in time and smacked straight into him. I didn't know whether to beg for forgivness or run off , especially as Barry McDermott was pi$$ing himself laughing and winding me up saying I shouldn't have done that, but I just dusted his suit down, straightened his tie up and apologised. He couldn't have been more nice about it and wished me well for the weekend.

Chev Walker. Saw him at the side of the road in Rothwell few of us jumped off the bus to see him chatted for a bit and even offered us a lift home
great guy.

Also Barry McDermott a true LEGEND and really nice guy

Barrie McDermott - one of the most kindest scary looking men around, always straight to the kids, if there asking for autographs and adults are around too, he would usually make the adults wait and give the kids autographs first.

Ali Lauitiiti & Jamie Jones Buchanan - Speak to me whenever I see them out and about Bramley Town Centre. Jamie Jones Buchanan, also when I played college rugby league at Stanningley, Buchanan used to come and train us, I fractured my pelvis in a game and he came in the ambulance to the hospital with me.

Clinton Toopi - Seen Toopi twice in Leeds Town Centre when the All Golds were over here, stood and talked for a good 30 minutes and allowed us to have a few photos taken with him.

Mine has to be Vila Matautia. Seeing him on the pitch i thought of him a dirty player who must be like that off the pitch. As a kid waiting outside Headingley to get autographs Vila took my autograph book off me and then went around the other players and got them to sign it for me. I didn't ask him to and he did stop some from signing autographs just to sign mine. Seeing this helped me understand that on the pitch players can be dirty and hated by opposition fans, but off the pitch they can be totally different.

Top marks to the bloke and i'll always respect him for that.

Ben Jeffries, Ryan Bailey, Stuart Fielden and Wille Poching were all great blokes who had a good natter about RL with me.

Keith Senior was rather rude when I met him in Buzz in Wakey about 10 years ago.
