Wish I had a quid for every time I'd heard this about saints and wire over the last decade or so - just before a Leeds, a Wigan, a Catalans, a cas, a Wakey, in fact pretty much any side rocks up to the party and spoils it. |

I would 100percent agree over the last few years format but the old top 5 system that is now back for this season means a big advantage for those top 2 sides and rightly so imo. There were not too many times top two didnt meet in this system; i can only recall Bradford in 05 who won it from 3rd and Wigan getting to the final from 3rd in 03 i think the rest were 1st v 2nd finals. |
