My mate tells a good story about watching a Runcorn Highfield game at Canal st, Runcorn.
In the days before kicking tees, Runcorn were taking another pasting when a wag from the crowd shouts to the then Runcorn coach (Geoff Fletcher), " come on Fletch, were running out of effing sand".

| Kevin Penny was playing in one of the last games of last season IIRC and being enthusiastic as he is, he ran to the ball after it went dead, jumped to tap the ball and dropped it...
Also, although I've only seen the videos on youtube, Warrington vs Wigan 1 January 1988, Paul Cullen flat out on the floor and then as the Wigan player who had tackled him walked past, Cullen jumps up and starts a fight  |

First that comes to mind is Wire v Harlequins Round 1. Myler about 30 metres out going to score and Thiery Alibert runs right in front of him. Was a great try saver. Good job we was about 30-0 up at the time.
