| Wood's sold all his interests in the Bulls IIRC.

Can you give a break down of what actually happened with Wood, the RFL, and Bradford/Odsal? I see so many allegations and conspiracy theories online from fans and journalists, I find it very difficult to believe.

Wood is still a ‘person of significant interest’ of Bradford Bulls Holdings Ltd even though he quit as Director. Are Bradford Bulls Holdings ltd a shareholder of the Bradford Bulls company?

| I had heard he put a considerable amount of money into the Bulls and would guess whilst he may no longer hold any interest he isn`t the sort of person who would walk away losing that amount of money. It certainly needs clarifying especially if the Bulls are one of the teams who make the 14.

| The Bulls could finish 12th in the IMG gradings anyway, so it could all prove irrelevant.

Don`t bank on it mate.I retired and have less time now then when I did around 50 hours a week and then travelling there and back to Bradford 5 days a week. Do it now whilst you have time!

The solution to magic weekend is simple
Apparently so according to Kris Radlinski last night . Play with an orange ball and orange posts ! Can’t wait for that Kris, I’ll be straight on Travel Zoo and spending hundreds to see that orange ball and posts. Is this how the C.E.O’s of top clubs look to reimagine the game? Also a bit hypocritical of him saying that Huddersfield damaged the credibility of the sport by playing against the Pie’s at Dewsbury. Wasn’t it Wigan that played their first few home games with football markings all over the pitch ? People in glass houses Kris……

| One thing that could hurt Leeds from 14 teams is new clubs going after our young players with offers of more coin.
The terrible debacle that is Salford is a far bigger embarrassment to the game than Hudds playing 1 game at Dewsbury.
Salford going on a warm weather pre-season training camp and having the Happy Mondays playing before our game early in the year are the epitome of appalling management.
Today’s game at Hull is a joke. They will be wound up shortly after the season ends. Feel for fans, staff and players. Today is literally men v boys

Apparently, Sky aren't happy about having to broadcast an extra game that they haven't paid for. Honestly, the lack of foresight and professionalism within RL is an embarrassment. How can we ever hope to attract sponsors and broadcasters when there's no stability or professionalism.
There's been next to no communication from the people involved in this apart from the standard line of the game is losing money and we need a governing body who is sympathetic to the people with actual 'skin in the game'.
The only way this changes is if someone comes along with enough cash to buy the whole thing, or things get so bad, the owners will have no choice but to sell to the NRL for a cut price (I suspect this is what the NRL actually wants).
I'm also a bit disappointed with Hetherington and his part in all of this. I mean he's voted for this as CEO of the Rhinos whilst being the majority owner of The Broncos. There's so much wrong with all of this, I mean it doesn't give you a good hand to play with your Main Broadcaster when you suddenly change the terms of the deal without consulting them, what confidence does that give them to give us a better deal next time. Or indeed any broadcaster who may have been looking to enter the market. Doubtful, I know, but the way the game continues to be run is precisely why there is little to no interest in a halfway competitive tv deal. There is zero strategy in play, IMG were brought in to bring just that, but as soon as it didn't align with the prevailing views they have been marginalised. To compound matters, not only don't we have a well planned programme to grow the game and improve the quality, we don't even have the stability that should be the default corollary of "no change". Rushed changes with zero thought as to how they will be implemented, bringing more chaos and confusion, is hardly the blueprint for growing anything successfully. But, despite IMG, we have the Salford situation. This is really IMG's and Salfords making. How they were ever graded above London baffles me
