| Quote: Gotcha "If its 13,300 then the 14,100 per game just went up. You earlier said it was 13,500.
You can come back end of season, but it simply will not be possible that Wigan will achieve a 18,000 average for the season now. They will not get over 20,000 for every game now.
They will not even hit the 14,000. I accept some gates will be much higher than they have had so far, but when talking averages they will not make such a huge difference.'"
why does it upset you so much?
it will be a lot more than 14,000.

| Quote: Wellsy13 "Maths and attendances still not your strong point I see.
They're at 13,289 average now. 53,155 aggregate.
14,000 average means they need 182,000 aggregate.
To do that, they need 128,845 more people through the gate (an average of 14,316 every game until the end of the season).
15,000 average means they need 195,000 aggregate.
To do that, they need 141,845 more people through the gate (an average of 15,760 every game until the end of the season).
18,000 average means they need 234,000 aggregate.
To do that, they need 180,845 more people through the gate (an average of 20,093 every game until the end of the season).
14k is likely.
15k is possible, despite not hitting 15,760 once this season. If they get 25k against Saints and Wire (the "Big One"icon_wink.gif, they only need to average 13,121 from the rest of the games.
18k is next to impossible. The only games they'll get above 20k are against Saints and Wire. Leeds might come close tonight, but apart from that, the rest will struggle to hit 14k, let alone 20k.
Once you grasp how averages work Dally, you'll understand the stupidity of your statement.'"
looks like youve put a lot of effort into that
shame i feel asleep after 1 sentence.
sorry

No, don't apologise. Now, i'm no doctor but that sounds like a serious case of narcolepsy. This is a real breakthrough in explaining why your posts are littered with disjointed crap. It looks as though it's probably taking you two, maybe three hours to complete a post - hence the incoherent babble that you post. It's come as a shock to you no doubt - but at least the rest of the posters on here will show a little more understanding towards your affliction and the quality of your posts.
My aplogies in advance for wasting five hours of your time in you reading this.

| Bradford v Harlequins - 7,153.
Must be Bradford's lowest league crowd for many years.

Yes we know .......you keep telling us .......the NRL is the best RL comp in the world ........the supporters in Sydney are the most loyal in the world..........RL is the number one sport in Australia.......blah blah blah.
If it wasn't for the 37,000+ average crowd at AFL games I meet even believe you.
Even leaving aside your exaggerarted claims for the NRL, and accepting that it is miles ahead of SuperLeague; you can't compare the two.
The NRL is the number one sport in NSW and Queensland, and I believe that in Brisbane the fans actually attend the games in great numbers, unlike the couch potatoes in Sydney.
However in England, RL is a minority sport, it is overshadowed by soccer in all areas. Hull City get more fans than Hull FC and HKR combined; Wigan Athletic get higher attendances than the Warriors, even Leeds United, despite being in League One, get more than the Rhinos.
Given the lack of newspaper coverage, the lack of a BBC/ITV tv contract, and the huge presence of soccer, especially the Premier League, then SuperLeague's crowd figures are quite strong.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

They don't have as many home fans! Wigan is a rugby town.

| A myth, there are more football supporters in Wigan than there are RL supporters. It's a shame that most of them are MUFC/LFC/EFC fans.

| Just using home fans, Wigan get more fans than Latics. 75% of Latics crowds have 5,400 away fans. And against the Manc and scouse clubs its more like 6 or 7,000 cos away fans go in the home ends.

2010 Wigan Warriors average home SL attendance .......14208
2009/10 Wigan Athletic average home EPL attendance ........17840
As I said, Wigan Athletic get higher attendances than the Warriors. I made no reference to home or away fans.
