He didn't flower pushed LH over with what looks like a punch to the back of the head. He started it and finished it. LH did sprint at Flower because he was chasing the ball and if you remember Flower had just dropped the ball with the try line begging, if you are looking for an excuse maybe the fact he bombed a try was more likely.

So from next season the rules are if you are stood in the route of a chasing player, you are free game for a swinging arm.

Doesn't look like a swinging arm to me, just looks like Hohaia changed direction into Flower's path and Flower collided with him. There wasn't much else he could do at that range. If I thougt he'd punched him I'd condemn it, just like I've condemned what he ended up doing to Lance. Do you think Lance was wrong to forearm Flower in the jaw?

Watch it again, Flower at best 'pushed' LH over at worst he used his fist 3 times not 2.

I don't think LH forearm push would have got a mention if flower hadn't reacted, however I would have no problems with that being a yellow.

Only just seen it. Thought it was a cowardly act, he looked out when he was on the floor and the second punch was just a disgrace. I see Wane is backing him up, perhaps a club ban of 6 months might show just how bad his actions were. You can guarantee the RFL will bottle it with a ban of 5 games or so.

Hardaker called a referee, in a viciously aggressive manner, a "****ing faggot". The circumstances are of course entirely different to last night's horror show, but no one in their right mind, or maybe a subset of Leeds fans, still thinks that the 5 game ban for that and conducting an investigation when he clearly appeared to do a similar thing again a few weeks later, were anything other than justified.

Not sure what there is to get worked up about in the police saying that if you punch someone in the head on the ground while out in their town you'll end up in the cells.
