The players union are probably looking at this from the point of view that Toronto offered highly inflated wages, and the opportunity to travel and play in Canada. This opportunity isn't just for the elite players, lads who may not get to be Superleague regulars are getting opportunities with Perez at Ottawa, Livolsy is also wanting to do the same at Toronto and of course living and playing pro in New York has to have it's appeal.
The issue isn't the opportunities these clubs give young players, it's only Argylle who walked away without paying, the new man offers to pay all that up and to be fair I think Perez will honour his commitments too.
Lets hope this can become a discussion and not a troll fest
