Radford's been past his sell by date at hull for about 2 seasons. Right decision, wrong way of doing it. They should have parted company at the end of last season, then used the pre-season to rebuild abit. They have a talented squad but there's a soft side and chronic inconsistency, those problems aren't quick fixes as they're cultural, that's the problem. If your squad lacks specific attributes like size, pace or creativity etc you can sign a player to fill the hole, or spend time developing the players. But when the problem is something less tangible, it's a harder fix.

Clearly the players had stopped executing what Radford wanted them to do.

However players tweeting stuff like that is pretty much normal practice when a coach in sport gets sacked.

I was listening to local radio and Pearson clearly stated that business around his and Radford’s parting was taken care of before anything was officially announced. He took care of the Sky cameras so as Radford didn’t have to face up to them. That’s it.

Exactly the amount of people that either can’t listen and comprehend what has been said or even read and understand what was said by Pearson is astounding. No one was sacked on tv live or otherwise.
Both Pearson & Radford has agreed to part ways and Pearson let Lee inform the players and said he would do the media for him and also inform of the decision.

Announcing it straight away saved Radford from the barrage of stuff that would have been on social media as is the norm these days. Delaying the announcement would have just lead to a lot of speculation and abuse. Pearson and Radford have the respect of each other and that showed.
