That's not really how it works though is it? They were doing poorly, replaced their coach with McNamara and became much, much worse. I don't think there's any way you can defend McNamara here. Didn't he lose 8 matches in a row before getting the sack at Bradford? So that means in his last 16 regular season SL matches he's won 1 and lost 15, and the one win was against Leigh and needed a last minute try to do that. Absolutely dreadful.

I think that we have struggled since Trent Robinson left and remain over reliant on players who aren't up to it.

Bird needs to start showing his worth and stop arguing with everyone.

The form under McNamara is worrying and rather than steady the ship since Laurent left, he has arguably made us even worse.

Three matches this season is too soon to write the whole thing off, but with Bernard's reputation for impatience and no signs of an improvement in form, it could be over quickly.

Probably IMO. And for all they've been dreadful I don't see them being displaced from SL.

Catalan play Wakefield next week. My team have history of bucking the trend. We'll beat on form teams and confound the odds on a regular basis. We also have a tendency when expected to win to kick start other teams season by losing heavily.

This is a make or break for McNamara if not the club imho.

Who knows, Catalan need to win that game a lot more than Wakefield do, lets be honest there will be a lot of pressure on them to perform. All that said i know that if Wakefield play to there potential it should be a fairly straight forward result, but this game is very rarely straight forward.

Wigans game was in 40 degree heat. I was answering Sir Kev's post about never seeing as much dropped ball when in fact there was more in the only two games I saw last week.

Based on the Dragons performance so far this season i have realised why they should not be exempt from SL.

All the other teams will have at least 2 points in the bag come the end of the season.
