Don't agree with that, i mean look at last years NRL GF. Brisbane drop the restart and the cowboys get the ball back to win it. Salford still had to get up field and into position, and by rights he shouldn't be allowed to knock it over from there near Half way, but it was a great kick despite the lack of pressure. It's a bad way to lose it for either side in golden point but it's like penalties in football, not nice for the loser. still can't believe your side couldn't see it out 8 points up with 2 minutes to go, that's where the game went. |

The got down to the 40 metre line from the kick off and then dropped it from 40 metres out. Worthy of winning any game, no problems there. I doubt hull kr would have been able to do that, they've lost 2 games by a drop goal.
Hull kr richly deserve to go down and now they'll have to take their medicine. |

I'm a leeds fan and we faced relegation and financial difficulties in 1996 and relegation this year. |

My point exactly. Extra time, not golden point. They DID complain when football used golden point, that why they abandoned the idea. |

There hasn't been any team promted via the Football League play-offs through golden goal.
The reason golden goal was abandoned was because it simply encouraged teams to play defensively and play for penalties. The flat 30 min extra time period encourages more open play. |
