They worked last time , just
But as you now recognise we now play out of arguably the 3/4 th best RL stadium in the country
I bet it's hurting like hell right now , don't worry you'll get over it

3rd 4th best stadium...lol.
Hull, Leeds, Hudds, Saints, Catalans, wire, Wigan, Widnes all better. On a par with Salford.

| Leigh have a nice stadium and already have a team that could probably get into the top 8 with a few additions. They will definitely add to super league, they've not been in the competition for over a decade so it will be nice to have a fresh team in.
Most importantly, it's all on merit. They've outplayed and beaten all SL opposition so far and now Hull kr, Salford or Huddersfield will experience the full wrath of sports natural selection.
I think it would be funny if Huddersfield go down.

| Well done Leigh. I said you would do it a couple of weeks ago without playing in the MPG.
Looking forward to seeing you at the Jungle and going over to the LSV. Last time I was there in 2014 Tigers Vs Widnes in the CC semi final. Great ground.
Welcome to Super League.

| Quote oggy123="oggy123"Cats fan calling drinkwater?? He's twice the player rangi is who walked back into your team....'"
Rangi Chase:
300+ NRL and SL games, Man of Steel, record number of SL try assists, NZ Maori and England international.
Josh Drinkwater:
5 NRL appearances, 24 SL appearances in a team who won one game all year.
Rangi made a bad decision to join a club that turned into a circus. Now he is at a stable club, he is starting to show the signs of being the quality player he can be.
However to suggest Drinkwater is better than Chase (at the moment) is stretching reality. Hopefull, we'll get to see them both in SL next year (if we keep Rangi).
PS - he didn't walk straight into our team. We signed him because Ben Roberts is out for the rest of the year, he didn't get selected straight away and our other options at 6 were a prop and a hooker.

No doubt Rangi can be an awesome player , but as you saw the other night , he can still do the daft stuff , we didn't see much of him at Leigh , so maybe for you he is a good fit , just not anywhere else
Past records will be different given their ages , Josh has just turned 24 and is just getting better and better week on week , will he struggle next year in SL ? , who knows but with a completely different set up and ' feel ' to his time at London ( doubt anybody would have shone for them that year ) he will get his chance
All the best see you next year

Obviously depends on how we go , a fan base built on 3 seasons of constant winning will include a fair proportion of ' Glory fans ' , a reality check will be needed by many , increases in supporting the team financially both home and away will erode some
How competitive we are will also affect how many opposition fans visit us , so I'd hope we can achieve yesterdays attendance as an average

I think you'll see a good away following from most of the SL teams as it will be a different ground to visit.
You need to pray for few Thursday evening games (although I hear rumours these will not happen next year) and that any Friday evening games are against local teams rather than Yorkshire teams.

Tough one that .....
Given the vast majority of Leigh fans want traditional Sunday 3 pm K.O, just estimations, something like this .....
Sat/Sun v Thu/Fri
v Wigan 10,000+/7,000+
v Wire 8,500+/6,500+
v Saints 8,500+/6,500+
v Leeds 8,500+/6,000+
v Widnes 7,000+/5,500+
v Cas 6,500+/5,000+
v WTW 5,500+/4,500+
v Catalan 5,000+/4,000+
v Hull FC 8,000+/6,500+
v Hull KR 7,000+/6,000+
v Giants 5,500+/4,000+
v Salford 6,000+/4,500+
All 3 SL Clubs currently facing possible MPG included.
Thur/Fri night matches possibly a little ambitious.

| congratulations to Leigh, fully deserved, they were superb yesterday and were ruthless, determined and played with aggression, heart, desire and skill.
Us, on the other hand, well that was just about the worst 40 minute performance I've seen from a Huddersfield team in over 25 years!
Well done Leigh, i hope we visit you again next year!
