l have only missed 1 MW, and l always make a weekend of it, l watch all 6 games, it will be great to get 40k in the ground, but l will be amazed if that happens, most fans just turn up for their game, and then leave, in the passed l doubt there,s ever been more than 15-18k for any one match, l don,t see that changing.

I live in Newcastle so I will be there and I can not wait for it either, this will be my first magic weekend.

The Forth, Trent House, Rosie's, Newcastle Arms, Bodega, Union Rooms, the Hotspur, Percy Arms are all popular on NUFC matchday. Plus the Strawberry as already mentioned. You can't really go wrong, there's a pub every other building and most of them are great. If you fancy a wander the Crown Posada is a cracking pub but not really enroute between the station and St. James'.
