Would rather someone with a bit of xfactor who might give the odd penalty than someone whos half the threat but has good discpline imo.

One thing's for sure, this squad are contriving between them to put a shed load of pressure on themselves and the coach to turn up and play well this weekend. Backs to the wall heroics, or the more typical rewards of shambolic preparation? Going to be interesting anyway!

That MIGHT be the difference between Hock and the alleged others involved. They might've accepted their punishment whilst Hock wouldn't, therefore leaving no other option.

Pure talent wasted IMO. I believe SM was right to select him. As others have said, he would have given the Aussies something different to think about. Even though i think Ferres is a good player, England will miss Hock skills and qualities.
Just a shame he has thrown it all away.

There are other teams in it - not just Australia. It's your sort of attitude that caused a loss against Italy. They need to use a squad.
