Other sports don't see it as a problem. Sorry to keep using football but Chelsea won the European Champs League yet they finished 5th in the league. Can they class themselves as best in europe?
If your going down that line you can say Cas beat Leeds in the season so if the beat the storm does that mean Cas should be classed as the best in the world?

The WCC is like a novelty event where it has favoured the team from one Country for 18 years, how can it be taken seriously?
The same people want this to become a game for 6 teams?
I can see why English Clubs like the idea, not sure why it would attract Australian fans?

We need Test series built back up where England and one day France are winning.
The Club idea has been tried in the SL Wars and it was an embarrassment, the fact that top Oz players are unlikely to move to England sets the scene for more humiliation for a series like this.
It will undermine the Test Games and make the largest group of Fans that support this game (the Aussies) deride the English game even more.
