A thought on recent chatter. RFL debate moving back to P&R and / or 12 team SL. You then ask SL clubs if they want to guarantee Bradford in SL? Maybe some clubs wouldn't be as keen...

The hard choice, but the right choice I think.

The governing body cant be seen to be held to ransom. If what's happening at Bradford happened again at other clubs, it then means the RFL would need to accept conditions then to be fair.

The hard choice as they could be seen as letting The Bulls cease, but ultimately the right choice.

Just hope Bradford can find another option now. If not I have no doubt that they would achieve large crowds in the Championships and work speedily towards a new SL franchise...hopefully in a better position.

Should Bradford go down and P&R isn't brought in then it would be 5 years before they could re-enter SL via the 2017 application. That would be the real test of loyalty for their fans and backers.

Whilsts I appreciate that this would indeed be a hard time for the fans of the club, the long term benifit could be invaluable as they could build an better SL bid than most championship clubs and this time on a financially sure footing.

I'd rather have a steady growth, building the right way from the bottom upward and reap the rewards over time than walk along the path the club has the last couple of years..just my opinion.

What do you base this on, bigger gates I suspect, gates that are inflated by £60 season tickets!

But the RFL pick who they want based on who they like in their fantasy Franchise system, the same system that waved Bradford through despoite their forthcoming financial meltdown!
