I may be miss-reading, but tickets for the Wigan/KR game seem to be going for £20 when bought from the rovers shop.

Yet in the south stand at DW, an adult ticket can be had for a mere £19 on the day purchase.

I have this strategy I like to employ, and I'll share it with you now:

If I think something is too expensive, I don't buy it.

Without wanting to turn this into a hull / hkr thread. But since hkr have been in SL their south end (which is so far south it's virtually in lincolnshire) had been £10 for anyone wanting to stand there, unless it was the game against Hull FC when the price shot up to £18.

We've hardly had any away fans at the KC since it opened anyway, even if it was free the same clubs would bring the same numbers, so the club has just put the prices up to reflect that.

I think if teams were putting prices up for certain games it would be out of order, but different stands I'm not so sure.

Same for Hull KR however we do travel to the KC in bigger numbers then Hull fans to Craven Park. Hopefully that will change when the North stand is completed.

Just for the record:

The prices haven't gone UP in the away stand. They've gone DOWN in the home stand. This has been done to encourage home support.

Are Hull the only team that charge away fans more than home fans? I'm not sure, this is a genuine question.

And as for the comment "how would we like it if clubs started charging us more when we visit", Hull KR have been charging us nearly double of everyone else for the worst stand in SL. We aren't victimising clubs, we charge blanket prices to everyone. Rovers have been trying to take advantage for years, and then complain when we don't want to turn up!

It's business. If you don't like it, don't come. The club will see this and try and do what they can to change it. But the fact that we barely ever get that many for away games anyway, I can't see it changing for a while.

There were plenty of them at last home game.

The best away support this season so far at MS3 Craven Park was Huddersfield and they where put in the "worst stand" in the league.
