Quote Gary26="Gary26"Prediction;
We will be slaughtered up our left side, Brisco, Yeaman, Rangi have no idea going forward and their defence is even worse.
=#FF0000This is down to Chase more than the other two. His poor defense has caused Yeaman to be drawn in to assist, leaving Briscoe stranded and us stretched outwide. Yeaman has actually made some good tackles and is good in defence - he stopped Williams dead last week.
Rangi only knows how to shimmy to his left and has no idea how to straighten up a defence, Yeaman has not broken the line once yet in this tournament, and Briscoe is frightened of taking on the white line.
=#FF0000Yeaman's runs haven't been that effective, I agree. Whilst he has gained some metres, they could be better or he could pass the ball across instead of running it himself.
Can't criticise Briscoe, for me. He hasn't had many opportunities - a lot of our play has gone to the right - but he did actually get the ball over the line last week, regardless of the ref's decision. He's also made some great runs and broken some tackles when returning kicks and running up the middle.
Wilkin is ok in defence but is ineffectual going forward, so all of the above makes for a very weak left side.
=#FF0000Wilkin has been okay but not great. JJB has been much better than him, imo, which surprised me if I'm honest.
Sinfied goes to sleep between sets and has no idea about 2nd phase footy because his attention span is elsewhere thinking about what he may possibly do next.
McKnob has no idea and is kidding himself if he thinks he can take this side on to better things, h is half selection is absolutely crap, we should be looking at Brough and Widdop in the halves. Sinfield should be a rotation player in the 9 or 13 position and Rangi should be running water for the Kiwis.'"
And as wheels said, this isn't a prediction.
