souths were down on troops
geddes is probably out for the season and burgess looks to have reinjured his shoulder
lots of dropped ball
the chooks deserved to win it
souths look like they struggled again to live up to the hype
their forwards when they finally started trying in the 2nd half made an impact
good game though
the red head guy from the chooks looks good
and Jarred WG i like the way he plays. indeed the roosters forwards were good

Just got back from the game. Decent atmosphere. Plenty of red and green.
Typical Souths for mine. Too many unforced errors and poor ball retention in the first half cost them dear. Injury's didn't help their cause, but nevertheless, until they start hanging on to the ball and building pressure on the opposition, they will struggle.

poor scotty geddes, he was a Dragons junior and was tipped to be a potential Origin player when he was younger. Then has been plagued by injury after injury. I feel sorry as he also a Personal Trainer, so he may lose out a bit on that front. I guess my curse struck again. I wished him well only yesterday!!!  |
