I thought the kicker had perhaps ran back ahead of the chaser (Ellis?) and played him onside tbh. But I was surprised they didn't seem to take a very close look at it. Considering the way they often take an age to look at easy decisions, they just brushed over that one.

No harm done in the end, and we will no doubt get bad decisions go our way as the season goes on, but I just don't understand how anyone can look at that and think it's a try.'" I can only surmise the video ref could only go with the on field decision as a hand covered the viewing, poor decision but he thankful it wasn't detrimental

You do make me giggle Craig.
To win a derby after only effectively one training session is a good result IMO.So we may not have played our best but certainly tonight doesn't show us at our best, but to win in maybe second third gear is pleasing. I don't respect Rovers squad on paper but I do Tony Smith and he will leave Rovers in a much better position then he found it in and will get your team playing to a gameplan that suits them. I think you will survive.

Can’t be displeased against the self proclaimed rugby football world cup champions in waiting. Your lot would end Liverpool’s winning run in a footie match they’re that good this year.

Self proclaimed by who exactly. Would you care to quote any Hull fan?...didn’t think so...
The bitterness still runs deep within the veins doesn’t it? Rovers were excellent in their application last night...they also lost and never held more than a four point lead. Hardly an indictment of the self proclaimed expansive style you play it it? Boring, one dimensional Hull won the game by two scores, had twice as many clean breaks and ultimately claimed the 2 points in what some are regarding as a game Rovers could and maybe should have won...

Last time I checked a try was worth 4 points. Hull won by 9 points, 4+4 = 8. Hence 9 points is two scores pal...

| Cracking game really considering Kr are tipped for relegation and took a team tipped for a grand final so close around the pitch. I for one was happy with how we performed considering our pundits predictions, But if I were a Hull fan I would be a lil worried with the team of big names and money spent to be outplayed for most of the match. Time will tell come end of the season

| Rovers played well above expectations and their commitment and effort was good but they lack real quality in the halfs so never really looked like posting enough points to win it. Hull will be much better when the weather gets warmer and the grounds firm up. Their big forwards and outside backs will take some stopping then. Soft grounds don't really suit our game as we cant get any speed into the ptb

No worries here we are building nicely but thank you for the concern. I also think you are confusing Rovers playing better then expected with being dominant.
Any important stat worth knowing you lost on, for as laid back as we were still managed more line breaks and chances.
