I remember him not knowing where to sit or which dug out to use, quite unusual for DoR but, we'll bow to your intricate knowledge.
He was certainly on a very fast track form playing Union to DoR at Leeds, may be the elevation in position was a little too quick but, enough to get him back into RL ? |

Id agree with your last point however the overhaul at Leeds is a huge task and one that was never going to be completed in 18 months, he has however shifted 18 players since 2018 so I would say its a work in progress and shouldn’t be judged solely on last year |

He was DOR for England from 2016, so didn’t jump straight into the Leeds role, it’s not about intricate knowledge its about basic fact checking, England have come very close to winning a World Cup and won a test series against the Kiwis whilst he was in his role so those calling him a flop are not taking that into account.
The GB tour has been a farce from strart to finish I will admit that |

Scandalous decision to fly Handley all that way just to gather splinters. He did well last season in a poor Leeds side so they should've give the lad a chance to show what he can do at international level instead of bizarrely persisting with a half back on the wing.
I'd sack Bennett for this alone.

I've backed Bennet in the past but flying Handley round the world for one game only to have an Aussie halfback play wing instead is ludicrous. Handley must have been gutted, there's no wingers left, you're called to fly out so it seems like you're gonna get the chance for a first cap, on a lions tour no less. Decent season in a struggling Leeds team but....no dice, the Aussie half back gets it.
They'll make the right noises but I can guarantee they'll be players in that squad thinking WTF.
