| Quote: Nothus "No comments about that Westerman incident then?
I've been watching RL a long time but someone dislocating their kneecap, slapping it back in to place and then playing on has got to be one of the most insane things I've witnessed. And also one of the most disgusting!'"
For all it was immensely brave for Westerman to carry on after a serious looking knock he should have not been allowed to make the choice of remaining the fray. I thought at the time he couldn't use full strength to stop Parcels try? Will heave to look at it closer when watch it back. Crazily brave though.

Parcell struggled because of the constant prop injuries he was mostly playing behind a prop group consisting of Singleton, Mullally, JJB, Delaney and an inexperienced Oledzki, even Roby would struggle with that collection, you don’t bin Parcell off you get him reinforcements. What we needed to do last year when Galloway retired and Garbutt, Peteru and Cuthbertson were know to be injured for a long time was get the cheque book out THEN....where was the marquee signings or £250k-500k bids for players last season for McDermott when we needed them.'"
To be honest Printer, I really cannot be arrised going over the same old arguments again and again, it’s blatantly obvious our management has cocked up the transition from 2015 onwards and that icnludes Mcdermott, Hetherington and yes Sinfield has made some mistakes since coming in but the major damage had been done and the club was a basket case which will take a fair few years to sort out.
And to be clear keeping Garbutt and now Parcell wouldn’t have made a blind bit of difference to how the team is going

No it wasn’t a basket case, they just had been tight with money for obvious and needed reasons and were still going ok. We won the GF with this apparent awful squad and coach and were sitting top 4 after 10 Rounds in 2018. As we constantly see nowadays when teams have injuries hit hard you struggle and even then we were losing several 1 pointers.....what we have now since Sinfield came in is the real mess and he’s caused it
We didn’t need to rip up the squad we had (and certainly not get rid of 2 of its better players) we needed to steadily add quality to it over time with the big money that had suddenly appeared available since July 2018 (not force it in 12 months) and focus on getting the best out of our better players like Garbutt and Parcell not focus on getting them out of the club.
Sinfield is mostly the man responsible for our position, at least Hetherington flaw of not spending was done with good intentions and we needed to do the ground up.
And if you don’t think a 140m per game prop wouldn’t have helped us you’re really burying your head in the sand....I suppose we kept Singleton though and powder puff attack, brought in Dom Crosby who hasn’t played a single game and Wellington Albert too. Or a hooker who has shown he can score up to 19 tries a season when he has a good front row to work and has looked much better than Dwyer in his last several appearances when Sinfield would finally sub him on, instead we kept a headless chicken at 9.

You just for what ever reason do not like Sinfield, this situation has been coming since the end of 2015 you mention the GF win in 2017 well we had at least one halfback with real class that season.
The reason we are in this situation is a culmination of things and not just Sinfields fault as you like to portray it.
Hull KR have that 140m prop don’t they and they've been below us in the table all year.

Justin Holbrooke was not born in Hull.

No they haven’t they started the season better than us and he was a key reason.
We had McGuire in 2017 but people’s memories are muddled because he was so good in the playoffs and the last 2 or so games of the regular season. Rest of the year he was average, bordering even on poor.
I don’t dislike Sinfield, I’m just not letting his playing career cloud my judgment like some Leeds fans are on how he’s performing in this role. If someone with ZERO Leeds connection came in last year in the exact same role I seriously doubt he’d be getting the slack many are still offering him.
The situation that had been coming since 2015 was that we were heading for a few years mid table not competing for silverware. Sinfield came in and has turned that into bottom of the table in 12 months.

| How did hull and their “best fullback in the league”, “best halfback pairing in the league”, “best outside backs in the league”, “best second row in the league” and “best front row in the league” manage to lose that game?

Respect to the lad, he is one tough hombre. Can you imagine if it had been Ronaldo, game would have stopped for an hour while the air ambulance arrived

Not every week, just the weeks were there are no quarter, semi or actual finals.
Aussie coaches look great otherwise.

| Hull FC couldn’t handle Hull KR .Hulls five drives and a predictable kick to the corner didn’t work for them this week . Parcel was class , as Jake Connor bottled it in front of the Faithfull East Stand . The Hull FC players are not used to playing in front of a loud crowd and the occasion got to them . Parcell ran them ragged . A well deserved win for Hull KR
