Genuine question, (about transfer deadline day) my mate reckons clubs can sign players (to play this season) as long they are registered upto the friday before the final round of league games.

Just said he was Disappinted Wakey wouldn't allow them to speak to Locke. To be fair to MC I think he has apologised. I can understand why they've done it as I could see Locke just being asked about Salford situation, but they could have just said no questions regarding this.
Opportunity missed IMHO.
But Wakey certainly aren't going to die wondering regarding their survival push. Get a a couple of wins and they'll certainly be going into the middles with some momentum. |

Section C1:2:5 of the operational rules:
Quote Budgiezilla
If any signing takes place or is authorised by the Board: (i) in the case of Super League and the Championship, after close of business on the Friday prior to the last round in the Regular Season (i.e. Round 23); or (ii) in the case of League 1, after close of business on the Friday prior to Round 16, then the Club shall not be entitled to play that Player in any Matches remaining in that Season.

But of course it could also emanate from the (alleged) counter legal claims between Salford and Locke and that the lawyers have advised him not to speak to the media. |

I believe they had a private conversation where Carter explained why KL would not be talking to the press, then Smith went public through social media to try to get Carter (see what I did then?) to change his mind.. Carter responded my suggesting that Smith should not act so immaturely... Or similar!
Since the two have made up and have been seen holding hands in public, Locke will not be speaking to the press! |

If you were at all honest you would have quoted the dates that these predictions by me were made. It was written on May 2, 2014, at the time when Locke was first signed by Salford, but before he had demonstrated his physical problems to the Super League community. You should cough up this relevant fact instead of hiding it, in order to score cheap points with the riff raff.
I, like most people in the northern hemisphere, only discovered that Locke was a crock earlier this year. His fragile physical condition has only been exposed to the Super League community this season, even though the people in charge at New Zealand Warriors certainly knew about it long ago. |
