| I thought Cas looked okay. They were the better team for good chunks of the match just couldn't get over the line. Two forward passes, Carney's brainfart, Lomax getting his hand to Shenton's inside pass when guys were queueing up score, Solomona dropping it with the line at his mercy. Really fine margins and on another day luck would have been on their side and they would have won. I don't think Cas fans should be getting down on themselves, they look a decent side, just didn't quite happen for them last night.

| And one of those forward passes wasn't! Still don't think Cas were all that though. Much of their attack looked uncoordinated and clumsy, passes went behind players to no-one... Even though Leeds benefited from some dubious decisions in the first half (largely, though not entirely, squared up in what looked like an equalising process in the second half), I can't honestly say Cas did enough to win.

They didn't look super slick admittedly, but neither did Saints. Cas made loads more metres, more offloads, more breaks and had more of the ball. It just wasn't their night. Kinda reminded me of Hull over the last few seasons. Compete well in every area of the game, but can't find a way to score.

| On the one hand I don't think Cas did enough and often looked in disarray with ball in hand close to the line, although they looked better organised in th second half.
On the other hand they were well and truly up against the ref. Some awful decisions, although the one he got right in binning Amor is of course derided by Sains fans lol

warrington slowing the ptb at every opportunity, you can here thaler shouting held and move to their players yet still taking an age to clear

| Carney has looked good for his first hit out, but Catalans aren't playing any better than just ok. Warrington have been very poor, there's no energy or enthusiasm in anything they have done and errors have killed them.

Well, it was ok to do it last weekend even when we were playing under the supposed SL interpretations, cant remember one single penalty for holding down and there was plenty of it.

| Catalans obviously look a lot better with Carney and SD in the team but Warrington have been shocking, Wheeler in particular has been terrible.

Thaler is clearly Letting the game like flow and warrington are taking advantage of the ruck speed

You've been brainwashed by the Sky commentary team mate. One of the two 'controversial' forward pass calls was actually a mile forward, the other one was flat at best. A 50/50. Could have been given and would have been on another night, but certainly not a 'shocker'.
I still don't even have a clue what Amor was sinbinned for? Perhaps I'll have to watch it back.

He got binned for a Crusher Tackle. Tbh it looked worse especially in slow motion than it was. It was all a bit pointless anyway from Amor considering Cas were on their own 10 anyway.
IMO it wasn't a proper crusher in the true sense of the word, where you push the head down of a tackled player towards the ground and it jolts/traps the neck. Which are obviously very dangerous when a tackler gets it wrong and can lead to serious injury. Amor put his weight down on the attacking player but didn't seem to me to trap his head and neck in any way but I suppose the ref was closer. Maybe the ref thougt that it was borderline and there's no room in the game for them, so peanilsed.
