It is a good idea as yopu can see exactly what they are looking at and for how long before they come up with a decision. It is just they are not used to the technology yet. They will get better.
In the past i used to think they were finishing their bovril off before making a decision. At least now you know what they are doing. |

The VR debacle needs to go the way of the margin meter - but quicker; watching two old blokes faffing about with a touch screen telly - in split screen - on the telly, was excruciating. Time for a rethink!
As for Eddie and Stevo - same sh.it, different season; the Sky producer has got to get the message out there - it's time to utilize something different.

I thought they mixed up the commentary a lot more in that game. All 4 had some input into the game.
I thought the best quote of the day was Stevo saying " Sarginson has been showing some form" 13 minutes into the match.
Form 13 minutes into the first match of the season. I'd need at least 4 - 5 games before I could call it form.
But honestly it did not bother me at all. If it did, I'd turn it off rather than listen to it. I liked the video ref bit. Needs more of a polish to it, no need to show us the 2 fella's in full screen, they could show the replays in a large screen with them 2 in a corner screen. I did like the announcement to the crowd, more NFL like. I'd expect some not to like it, but some people don't like that there are no unlimited tackles.
It's not going to make or break the game, but it's a nice extra.
