England 30-0 up after 32 minutes and people complain about how dire the game is, how the World Cup has now gone to the s***s. Yet NZ walloped France last night and everyone was raving about it. "Oh, that's why they are the current champions". "On that performance, not even Australia could stop them".
England can't win! I for one hope they stick 60-70 points on them. Don't really care about how high the score is. The more the plays come together, the more confident the team will be of executing them in the future! |

If there was a boxing match between a top fighter and an average one it would likely be over in under a minute, nobody would complain because it's the nature of the sport. If people can't deal with a situation where one side is clearly better than the other then that's their problem. |

The sport needs to rid itself of the 'cannonball' tackle. On 41 mins, Kostjasyn is held up 5 yards out by 2 England defenders. Momentum has stopped, the ball is smothered, there's no threat. O'Loughlin then piles in with a shoulder tackle into the standing leg of the Irish guy.
No bloody need. Then again, you can take the boy out of wi*an...
Thankfully, there was no injury to Kostjasyn - but it's a tactic I despise because it really can do damage to the standing player.
