When they show the NFL Wembley game on the beeb the presenter (Jake Humphrey I believe) always bang on about 90K fans being there as to make out that it was so popular when in 2010 only 55700 turned up with a large portion of seats covered over in the lower tiers.
In any case no FA cup final has been an absolute sell out, the 2008 final was 89,874
People getting hang ups about a few empty club wembley seats is ridiculous, if you look at the 2009 & 2011 finals it seems the bandwagon fans of the finalists didn't attend or neutrals weren't interested as the attedances were 13.5K & 11.5K less than capacity
