There is no difference for me between Puig-Aubert's genius and Billy Slater's.

The magic in the game is what brings most of us back to it.

The club got me into the game and makes it more interesting. However with no immediate club to support I love the game just as much and watch it at whatever level I can.

Are you saying that Billy Slater was , small fat and smoked like a chimney.

The game has to come first for me. If Rugby League is struggling, then my club would too. I think the games governing bodies - Europe and Down under has to promote International competition more and attract fans to watch the games. International competition gets neutrals interested - I've never had any interest in Mens hockey, but in the eighties when the Olympic team were doing well - I followed it and everyone at work was talking about it.

I love my club, but I'd love it if there was a European or World final between Spain & Italy for example (or anyone outside of the traditional nations).

If Hull KR disappeared then I would not follow another professional club. I'd watch more local amateur RL.

If my club went down the pan, I would never go to another match again.

I would cancel my Sky subscription and just watch S.L. show. I could never support another club, I find it bizarre.

No 2nd favourite teams for me, and as for the International team……..

I think it's a given that we all love the game, that is what gives our beloved clubs a reason to exist.

But it needs to be put into some kind of context.

For example, to those that say the game comes first - would you be happy with something that had a seriously negative affect on your particular club if it was 'for the good of the game' ?
