He is trying to make a living after a career ending injury, after which, he received very little support from the club he played for along with the RFL. I don't see a problem with this. If people don't want to use his services don't book him.

Lighten up. Of course him trying to make a career after playing is a good thing and I wish him well.

I think he comes across in the wrong way. One of his concerns on the local radio was his concerns for the future in the game, he came up with an alarming scenario.
We try to develop the game in France, whilst most of our best English players go over to the NRL.
There becomes a superleague (england) void where second rate OZ/NZ come over here to play alongside second rate England players, Superleague becomes NRL2.
