If NZ beat Aus at Warrington (and England and NZ beat Wales) then if we beat Aus at Wembley we prevent them from getting to the final! Imagine that!! Knocking Aus out of the Four Nations at Wembley!!

Black Backgrounds/Zoot.gif Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

Now there's a pleasant thought. It would also mean that Darren Lockyer could make his last appearance on a RL pitch at the Racecourse Ground, Wrexham. Bet he didn't see that coming when he signed his first ever contract!

| It all depends what side NZ send over. Maurie Fa'asavalu beat them on his own the other year as they were so poor.
If they bring over a fired up, near full strength side they'll decimate us.

| So it looks as though they've hit the 30k barrier, which is very promising! A crowd of 50-60k would be an awesome effort from the RFL and the RL public imo. 12 or so of us going down from Leeds in mini troops and rendezvousing there.

| Will be an amazing atmosphere if they can get it towards the 50k mark, and back playing where games like this should be played, in front of big crowds rather than smaller club stadiums. Just hope the RFL get all the build up right for it, inside and outside the ground on the day and the week leading upto the first games.

What, like they 'decimated' us 24-10 at home, last year when they were the best side in the competition?

| I got tickets to Wembley in the 10 pounds deal. Unbelievable value to see the very top rugby league players in the world. I am also making my first visit to the new Wembley and that will be an experience all by itself. I am very much looking forward to what should be a fantastic day out. I am also looking forward to seeing the new breed of English ( and Welsh) younger players. There seem to be some exciting talents out there and it will be interesting to see how well they stack up against the Aussies/Kiwis. We are expecting to get beat so its possible that we could see a great upset especially seeing as how the Aussies and Kiwis will have knocked the **** out of each other in their first fixture. Anyhow hope springs eternal.
I also have booked tickets for the games at Hull and Wrexham. I think some of the crowds could be excellent. I hope so. The continued development of this tournament until it becomes an annual hugely popular event to rival the six nations RU borefest would be huge for our sport.
I think the close proximity of the 4 nations to the recently ( by then ) concluded RUWC should be a brilliant opportunity to showcase our game to the nation in a hugely favourable way given that only the all blacks play decent attacking rugby and many of the games in RUWC have been depressingly dull.
Anyhow I hope all the rugby league public take the opportunity to support the concept, win or lose, and that huge attendances will materialise.
If this competition is a great success it could be a fabulous springboard for a great RLWC in the near future.

| The £25 areas are sold out, according to the chap on the RFL ticket line this morning. Think we'll fill the lower bowl (36,000 IIRC) but I don't know about beyond that. Does anyone know what's happening with Club Wembley, I don't think this event is included in the package they pay for (unlike the Challenge Cup Final), so are these seats available for the RFL to use?
