| No qualms about the players (and hopefully the staff too) finding work.
It might even make Super League worth watching. Christ our guts are already wrenching when we see the England line up. More Bulls talent could give England the World Cup!!

| Quote vastman="vastman"You know something I don't
Of course we would but Hulls good season was down to team work and desire as much as anything and wasn't the work of 17 super humans.
There are plenty of Hull FC players who have looked very ordinary in the past and may do in the future and would do nothing elsewhere IMHO - ditto there are plenty of players from last years bottom four clubs who would hugely enhance Hull or any other club for that matter - or are you seriously saying you couldn't find some value in a few Hudds or Leeds players or that humble little Wakefield don't posses a young Winger in Tom Johnstone who isn't better than your current wingers because he is.'"
Not looking for point scoring here, I always like to see an outsiders view. Which current Hull players do you think wouldn't do anything elsewhere?
On the subject of Johnstone. I'd be very happy for Hull to sign him if the prospect arose, because he's got outstanding potential, but our first choice wingers for the current season are likely to be Talanoa and Fonua. At this moment in time, both are better players than Johnstone.

| Tom Johnstone Is a great young player. He needs to move to a top club, this will help him develop further and gain international honours.

| tom johnstone is one of the hottest properties in sl
i can't see him sticking with wakefield long term and that he will move to one of the bigger / more successful sides within the next couple of seasons

Are Leeds fans feeling that vulnerable ?
Johnstone seems to be doing just fine at Trinity and will make further progress this season.
Another few tries against Leeds to add to his Boxing Day efforts will be good to see

Wouldn't hold it against him if/when he does - rugby league is a relatively short career after all (in Solomona's case very short). I just hope we get a hefty fee for him.

Oh yes they are.
I admittedly haven't see that much of Johnstone. I've seen his wonder try against Hudds, and a couple of other special efforts, but other than that I've only seen him maybe 9 or 10 times at most, so obviously I'm not the best person to pass judgement. He is lightning quick, pretty elusive, and given his age he should only improve. But at this moment in time he still falls into the one for the future category. Plenty of players have looked just as exciting only to slip into relative obscurity. He's not done anything on the big stage yet either.
Talanoa lacks pace, but he's been a key part in Hull's engine room since he got here, and considering where he was when we picked him up he's got to go down as one of the best signings in recent times. Radford calls him the prop winger. He's always there making meters, busting tackles and putting us on the front foot, and he can finish a try to boot.
Fonua is just a beast, again he lacks lightning pace, but who needs pace when you can just carry someone on your back for 30 meters? Ask Johnstone about that.

Again, tell that to Johnstone.
Oh and you should really be a Superleague coach btw. Incredibly insightful.
