I'd definately take the opinion of a bloke thats been involved with the professional game either as a player or a pundit for over 40 years over most of the pearls of wisdom I read on these boards on a daily basis. |

Good for you - go ask him about the modern tactical approach to the game, how to structure a sequence of attacking plays or the role of wingers in defensive situations. I'm guessing you'll get an answer nowhere near anything you'd get from those currently involved in the game at a professional level. |

Somehow I cant see Michael Maguire or Wayne Bennett registering an account on here and arguing with SmokeyTA and Starbug about who is the most misinformed poster or discussing Jonnytheleythers opinion that all international RL jerseys should be red and white.
