Quote: The Avenger "I'm afraid that in your haste to have a go you've completely lost your thread haven't you!
Where have I said that Sinfield shouts at the official in an aggressive tantrum?
I simply said that Rhino fans have quickly forgotten Sinfield who constantly questioned and challenged officials throughout most matches, to the point of dissent.'"
We haven't 'forgotten' that, it simply doesn't happen. What Brough did last night was dissent, what Maguire did last week was dissent, what Sinfield does is respectfully question, occasionally forcefully, but never in the same postcode as dissent.
Quote: The Avenger "Yes amongst the other words used by Peacock, I am referring to that word. You'll also note I used the word "possibly"
Are you saying it's more palatable to accuse a referee of being corrupt than to suggest he's gay? Is it OK for Peacock to use the F word in such an aggressive manner that he actually spits and slavers in the direction of the referee?'"
I don't think anyone has said that about Peacock, it seems you are saying it about Brough though...
Quote: The Avenger "Here's where you lose it a little, I'm not suggesting anything of the sort re how Hardaker gets treated, merely suggesting that Rhino fans having a go at Brough is a bit laughable considering the Leeds fullbacks atrocious record.'"
Let's have a look at that 'atrocious' record. There was that time he got done for the completely unacceptable homophobic slur, then there was that erm... that other thing he did on the pitch, you know, where he... know, can't think of anything. Must just be that one offence.
Quote: The Avenger "IMO McGuire was worse because he was after the referee constantly throughout the 80 minutes!'"
He wasn't though was he? He did ask why only one team seemed to be getting penalised, and how on earth can you give a phantom obstruction against Leeds but not see an actual Hudds one, and any captain would talk to the ref after 7 pens in 20 mins, but by any standard he was not 'constantly after' him. You may recall Brough leaping up in to the refs face after Delaney's try, demanding to know how it was allowed - does that constitute 'constantly' as well?
Quote: The Avenger " Again where have I suggested that he had a paddy or indeed where in my post have I said Brough having a paddy is acceptable.'"
You're about to imply it below. Have a read.
Quote: The Avenger "In relation to my sympathy, Im talking about the rules of the game not being breached and therefore IMO it's not a penalty.'"
The game doesn't have rules, it has laws, and you obviously don't know them. As soon as anyone moves into a position where they're pulling rather than pushing the tackle is complete (that happened) and as soon as an opposition player lends weight against the tackle it's complete (this happened as well) and as soon as the ref calls held the tackle is complete (unbelievably this also happened) so whatever way you look at it, the tackle was complete and the Hudds players took him out of bounds. Penalty all day long, every day and for every team in League. Danny Brough does know the laws, he just doesn't like them.
Quote: The Avenger "Where did I say it was right for Brough to shout at the referee?'"
It's implied by your sympathy for him but utter lack of it towards any Leeds player.
Quote: The Avenger "By the way I live in the real world not the blue and yellow tinted one you live in.'"
No you don't.
Quote: The Avenger "Now take a breath and THINK it through before responding.'"
Normally people who patronise at least try and make sure their points are correct though. Now hold your breath. Hold it. Keep holding...
