I think some people are being very disrespectful to the fledgling Premier Sports. They were given the chance with the Championship, and what a good show they have made out of it. Plus they have made the contacts with the NRL, which comp, if not for Premier, it is highly unlikely we would be able to watch.

If Premier continue to work to the standards they have set then they can only grow, and more power to their elbow.

Seems the RFL had no choice, the world cup has to be on the BBC for the wider audience, sky didnt want to share so they had no choice.

as for premier sports, those that have it say do nothing but praise them so must be good, im signed up now for the world cup for £9.99 so cant complain

Who is getting a strop? I have PS, I can watch every single WC game live. I have no reason to have a strop. You are the one complaining as to why the RFL chose Premier Sports, and that Nigel Wood is an idiot for doing so.

Premier Sports can offer as many subscription discounts as they like but they'll not be of any interest to any modern day fan of Super League and Sky's sooper dooper coverage in HD and 3D. Not unless you are brearley84 who would sell his own grandmother for a 50% discount in transaction fees

If you read correctly i have asked the question why were they chosen, which now i am aware. I also stated that it isn't great having it with a company that can't accommodate approx 4 million (according to WikiP) of VM customers. Maybe it is narrow minded of me to think it would be good for RL to try and pick up 1-2% of the VM customers. The decision to use PS was made a long time ago, I feel more should have been done to get this on as many platforms as possible, it's not like they've had a year or so to work on it?!?

Staying away from this forum is a good thing as it is full of many people like yourself that seem to spend an unhealthy amount of time talking rubbish on here, also use it as an ego boost of some kind, case in point you saying i was complaining about PS, when i wasn't, i was asking who made the decision.....and for the record Nigel Wood is an idiot for many bad decisions made in RL.

I have only had Premier Sports this season and have not had any problems with the quality of the transmissions. As an aside, if it was only transmitted in 3D I wouldn't want it at all.

You have vented your frustration about the World Cup being on Premier Sports. I've replied saying if you have PS, why are you complaining about the tournament being on the channel. At the beginning of the post, I did say that you were complaining about PS. Maybe I should have worded my first response to match my last response (advising you were complaining about the WC being on PS). But at the end of the day, you are obviously unhappy about the WC being on PS. My question is if you already subscribe to PS, then why?

What utter bollox. So people who pay good money out of their hard-earned to receive the Premier RL coverage, do so because they "won't put up" with it, and because they "really hate the game"!

Or they will put up with it for some games, but not others?

And every SL fan with Sky has an HD subscription, do they? Have you done a survey?

Also, there would be nothing that I know of that would prevent Premier upgrading their coverage to HD, if they could make a commercial case for it. As Sky show the game in HD, I kind of assume that there is one.
