Hull v Leeds 1974 Yorkshire cup tie at the Boulevard. Hull had 2 players sent off ref was having a mare, so Hull captain Jim Macklin orders the team to walk off. Ref tells Leeds to play on which they do, throwing the ball out through their much vaunted back line to I think it was John Atkinson who dropped the ball in front of 3d stand hilarious

Harmon Tuavo playing for Runcorn away at Leigh. Bizarrely (he was a prop who played on the wing) he took the kick-off at the beginning of the match. Stubbed his toe into the ground about 2 inches before the ball and the ball went about 6 feet.

It didnt get much better for Runcorn after that.

Because they love a bit of biff do dogs.

Many years ago when Wakefield were playing Oldham a fox ran onto the pitch, ran round for a bit then ran off again....

I remember Sean Long a year or two ago (maybe more) clean through after a break and putting on the showboating dive for the line and he missed. Landed a couple of feet short.

Pre-season game at Salford a few years ago, Salford were taking a crucial kick from about halfway in from the touchline. Not sure if it was a penalty or conversion.

Suddenly, in a moment of Union-esque madness, Brian Carney shot out from beneath the sticks to charge down the kick.

Quite simply the funniest thing ive seen at a game, tonight everyone was booing around me, I couldnt stop laughing for the life of me.
It will humour me for the rest of days, it wouldnt of been as funny if he hadnt just sprinted 40 metres with that much enthusiasm.
