Niggly crap?



He reffed us a few weeks ago against Leeds and was ridiculously one-sided.

Also had him at least once last season and was giving bizarre decisions both ways. Sorry but he's crap. More than happy for him to ref all your games if you like him.

If Lees was a yellow the McCarthy Scarsbrook was a straight red.

Just watching the game. Can't believe the ref blew for a incorrect PTB but surprise surprise he let a ton of others go no problem.

An excellent win for Cas and it looks like Saints wont be the dominant force in the comp this season.
This is great news for all of the other clubs and spectators alike, as a more open competition is far better viewing and significantly more interesting.

Let's hope that the RL can continue

I take it you watched the game on tv?? Roby was constantly on at the ref all game, most notably trying to defend the high tackles that saw players go to the bin.
Not used to seeing Saints as niggly & ineffective as they were today but happy that they turned up with that kind of attitude.

Well played Cas. A thoroughly deserved win against a team who seem to have lost their way since Holbrook went home. They've turned into a bunch who'd rather do the dirty stuff than the stuff that won them so many fans last year.

Entertaining game. Leigh look the real deal and whilst we squandered umpteen chances in 2nd half the 3rd Leigh try and drop goal looked like being enough. Will the CC round 5 be played? Recorded Cas game and just finished watching. Good game and deserved winners. Saints look so much slower at PTB than last year? Noticed Sky publicising Thursday and Fridays tv games? Wishful thinking I'd expect?

Prior to today we'd beaten saints 7 times in 54 games. In most of them games saints have blitzed us in the first quarter but today we really got after them, forwards were superb, aggressive, great line speed, constantly won the ruck. It was good to see us give it to saints because even in recent years when we've improved our record v saints hasn't especially.

Saints suffering a bit of world club challenge hangover. Too many good players to not improve.

Think all this talk of dirty Saints is going a bit overboard. Yeah there were a couple of high tackles ,but none worse than ones from Cas.
The only player I can see possibly getting into trouble with the disciplinary panel is Liam Watts for his dodgy tackle that none of the commentary team picked up on.
