Massive massive task that one. We have a steady but committed BOD and attention must now move to getting bums on seats. It's a tall order and patience is needed. We have to be breaking through the 4,000 barrier regularly to stand any chance of dispalcing a current incumbent. If we can't do that then we're not offering anything to SL that isn't already being done so by a current club.

I cant diagree with you on that one, our move back to Sunday will hopefully see us get near a 4,000 average over the season. With the team you have you should be entertaining next year and that will put bums on seats, depends how Calland cal gel the team.

It needs a spark. A spark of something. It worked in 1985 with the Aussie invasion. Crowds boosted to a 6,000+ average and trophies were put in the cabinet. It's even harder now - home entertainment systems and other demand pulls on leisure time makes it an uphill struggle. A big professional marketing budget is needed along with a successful team. That's an awful lot of cash.
