now come on, how can you consider a club 60mins away from Sydney not expansion? Especially when it is in fact just moving a once failed club suburban club a few miles up the road! Next you will be telling me that bringing in Salford wasn't expansion of SL into new areas!

| Have to say dally has done an excellent job of making this thread so bloody confusing that it seems many of the usual contributors to discussions of these matters have stayed away , well thats the excuse they can use anyway  |

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate

They are not without clubs. There are several RL clubs around that area. What you mean is that they don't have a NRL club, and therein lies your problem - you only look at the top level of the game.

in australia if you arent in the nrl it means zero.
a central coast team is an expansion team
heck the gold coast titans are an expansion team
but to moronic english posters if you have a RL club an hour away then the whole area is "heartlands"
