Yes. But only if they have recently sold a lease which will leave the governing body with a huge white elephant on its hands and no tenant.

| Maybe the RFL or SL will buy all of the clubs out and centrally manage them
Bring in drafting of players etc
Central costs for marketting, tickets etc reduce general overhead

| I see no difference with this situation and Rangers. They were a big club in scotland facing liquadation but there was no bail out from the SPL as that would of been nothing short of disgraceful.
The Bulls got themselves in this mess and its absurd that SLE have taking this action.

Why not , what could they do about it ?'"
The Championship clubs have to vote whether any new club can be admitted to the Championship. This happened previously when Hull and Gateshead went under and Hull were refused entry. The RFL then decided a new Hull club could be formed by merging with Gateshead and be put in SL.

This arrangement can only be short term and will be burning a very large hole in RFL funds.
Will the volunteers at Bradford who have been working for nowt really want to continue, they already deserved a medal for their efforts but does this situation change anything.
It all seems somewhat sureal.'"
It'll be SLE funds won't it? But yes, it'll be short term, til Nov 30th at the latest.
Anyway, no decisions have yet been made on the staff who've been working as volunteers. Hopefully that will come soon as they need to know where they stand.
If they are taken back on it'll be until Nov 30th or whenever a new bid is approved by SLE.

But the world has changed since then , the Championship clubs do as they are told now

| So, the message to all club owners/chairmen who chase the dreams of success is..................spend beyond your means to achive unrivalled success and become a hugely succesful club on the back of spending what you haven't got and dont worry because 5 years down the line when it all goes breasts vertical and your club is on the brink of death the RFL will bail you out !!!
What a truly pathetic decision and governing body we have, this absolutely stinks.... Bradford got themselves into this mess, they should pay the price for mis-management.

| Michael Platt tweeted that the players have been told "no buyer to clear existing debts = Championship for Bulls next year".

You make it out to be worse than it is. I mean the championship teams get one vote compared to SL clubs two votes. I cant see a problem with that.

| People need to understand the facts here. SL(E) has fifteen equal shareholders - the 14 SL clubs and the RFL. Every single penny it earns in profit it distributes to the shareholders. SL(E) is NOT the RFL.
SL(E) had £1.6m in the bank according to the last set of accounts. That money belonged to the SL clubs and it appears they have decided to use it, or rather whatever the current amount is, to buy the Bulls.
The RFL had a big say, no doubt, but the other clubs had to be behind it for their cash to be used in this way.

Be very careful, you will be in a worse state than this if Uncle Ken ends his bankrolling of you, as i'm pretty sure any losses or mis-management you make are currently absorbed by Ken.
You may be standing on your own two feet now, but... if the rug of Ken is pulled you will fall.

What on earth are you doing bringing 'facts' into the debate? That's not the way we do things around here.

So if no buyer is found the Bulls are sent to The Championship? On the other hand if the Bulls are allowed to go bust they'll undoubtedly reform...probably in the Championship...with no debts. So what are SLE spending their money on?
