if the RFL is going to risk its money on a club, which is a better risk Leigh (whose 1 year in SL was a failure), Barrow club from an area with a tiny population and add little to SL), Fax (another small club right next to bradford) or paris or toulose.



if you are going to risk money, risk it on the place that can actually change the sport a lot.

And right next to Huddersfield, but a club that is bigger than Toulouse. IF we are going to risk money on places that can actually change the sport why dont we have a club in New York?

No it doesn't, it means you. Widnes didn't fail, that was a malicious lie on your behalf, going into administration isn't failing it is a temporary setback that happens to several clubs a year, often in soccer. Bradford folded 45 years ago when the sport was completely differently run. Whether they should have been given another chance at the time or not is irrelevent, the fact is they were and now they are anything but failed.



If Paris had a successful team at the moment the failure of PSG would be irrelevent, but they don't, the last French Elite team in Paris was a disastrous failure too that lost every game by a big score and had to drop down in finacial ruin only to fold soon after.



London Broncos failed in a far greater way that Widnes allegedly did and it was ignored (although they changed to become Harlequins as a result). They actually folded, which if you had the slightest bit of sense you'd realise Widnes didn't.



If Paris want to work their way up to SL did they should be able to like Bradford did and Widnes are trying, they shouldn't be gifted a place. Noone is saying RL should be banned in Paris after PSG they are just saying they should earn a SL spot after the failure last time.



Because of people thinking like you there will soon be no professional RL in Wales, whereas if expansionists like me had had our way there'd be a successful Championship team in Wales with Welsh players, their own ground and matches on S4C. Now all that is gone and there's just ruins

In what possible way is Gosford expansion territory and not Widnes, Leigh or Barrow? Gosford is a heartland area where the game is long established, nearer other clubs than Barrow are, with a team already playing in the 2nd tier and previously had a club playing there in the top flight.

its not really is it, it isnt a 'heartland' club, there were a few thousand real RL fans in Catalonia prior to Les Catalans entering SL, now there are many many more
