| Quote: Anakin Skywalker "So you don't think it at all strange that the ONLY folks who think it was a 'tackle' are Cas fans?
Surely some fans elsewhere would come by this conclusion if it was in anyway in doubt.
So far none have.
Strange that eh!!'"
Do you want me to lie and say that I think he did it on purpose, went out to elbow Ropati in the face, break his jaw and then give him the dreaded "menacing look" whilst he was on the ground?
I'm not defending it was a bad challenge, I just don't think it was premeditated as people seem to think it was.

Feel free to mention me in court.'"
That's an opinion
An elbow is raised to jaw height by Chase, he follows through, and one of the consequences was a broken jaw.
That's not opinion.

I also haven't told anybody they are wrong, simply stated my own opinion on the matter which I am entitled to as much as you or anyone else is.'" They did until they saw the replays on here at which point they quickly changed their minds.

| Quote: Gronk! "Look at the 2nd gif posted by Dumdum, first contact from that angle appears to be a head clash. Why his arm comes up after it, well that is his terrible technique when he shoulder charges, as many people have said - he does it EVERY WEEK and 99% of the time, it's a legal hit.
It's reckless and an unfortunate accident.
I'd suggest this thread be closed because all the people claiming it to be a premeditated attack, calling for him to be charged and saying he should be sued could get this website in a lot of trouble.'"
Give over, in no way is that a head clash!

| Chase is looking at Ropati before his feet leave the ground and before he swings his elbow through his face and subsequently breaking his jaw, after the malicious attack, not one single Cas player checks if he is ok, More importantly - Chase, who will have known full well how much contact he made, may even have felt it break. Instead e stuck his chest out, clenched his fists and trotted off all happy with himself at doing what he set out to do, which was put in a massive hit.
Poor technique is not the reason that Chase's arm/elbow ended up across an opponents face, like I've said, Chase saw where his arm was yet still followed through with all of his weight, additionally he jumped into it which has added more force.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Quite sickening. The reaction after it happened is even more disgusting than the challenge itself.

| I remember Senior accidentally breaking Walkers leg right in front of me, no messing about he signalled the referee straight away, different situation and different break but like Senior, most players following a poor tackle, break or no break, would check if the player was ok, Chase didn't bring attention to it either because he didn't want the ref to realise what had happened and give a penalty or because he felt he'd done nothing wrong which is quite disturbing.

You're wrong about everything so far, and this is no exception. Look back at the thread on the Hull board from the week after we played your lot. Many posters, myself included, were saying what an excellent player Chase is, what a great game he had, how he looked dangerous every time he had the ball, and how they'd love to see him wearing a Hull shirt. I'm sure plenty of fans of other clubs have said similar things. Unless those posters have suddenly developed a grudge against Chase between then and now, there must be another reason they all think his attack on Ropati's head was deliberate, cowardly and malicious.
