Saints have him playing differently than his time at Leeds, he is more of a team player. Woolf has improved his defence and cut down his errors, on the stats its looking good at the moment for his try assists during a superleague season.
Hurrell was excellent for Leeds in the 2019 season with trys scored, he won't reach those heights with Saints but his contribution this season on and off the field is really positive, he is enyoying his rugby this season compared to his last 2 years at Leeds.

Again rewriting history. Hurrell had a poor final year at Leeds which is why his contract offer from the club wasn't substantial. That poor last year was partly due to injury partly form - but Wolff hasn't made much tangible difference as far as can be seen. He's not that kind of coach and Hurrell not that kind of player.

About 50 over 3 years?
Playing in a better team obviously makes it easier for him to look better than when playing in a struggling team. But someone inconsistent and error prone like Hurrell is also not a luxury a struggling team can afford.

| Konrad is a different player because he is playing behind a winning pack, at Leeds they are were pretty much a beaten pack, and 3/4s get far less traffic closer to the line under those situations.

| People seem to be forgetting Hurrell was in the Dream Team two out of his three years at Leeds. He's a very good, very explosive player. He hasn't suddenly become this at St Helens.
But Leeds, rightly in my view, judged that his all too obvious weaknesses, which are still glaring, didn't outweigh the upsides and couldn't justify the contract he wanted from us. I backed that when we let him go and still do. He's a luxury only a few teams can afford to have because, for all his positive impact, those mistakes and lapses in concentration can be deadly to less polished or struggling teams.

| What a load of rubbish lmao. He’s been at fault for no more tries than any other player is.
Plus, he has bought into the St. Helens ethos of hard work, something he didn’t need to do at Leeds as they don’t have the same culture
Best signing of the season bar none and would walk into any other SL team

And yet 5 mtrs from the line and a fullback deemed as someone who cannot tackle stopped him and he dropped the ball, the rest is history.
No he is not the best signing of the year.

Saying Hurrell can't be a good player because Jai Field tackled him doesn't speak very well of Wigan's second best fullback does it.

| funny how some one who cannot tackle as many of your fellow Stains fans say did the one thing against a player much bigger says more about the overrated Hurrell than Field.

| Konrad fatboy Hurrell is still currently stuck inside Tim Lafai's pocket.
As for the signing of the season that one is really really easy Brodie Croft.
